New Seat Covers

I have an '01 Silverado with the custom cloth 40/20/40 seats up front. I was wondering it I could get them re-upholstered with the same factory cloth? Can the seat cover be taken off and a new OEM one be put in it's place? Or does the entire seat need to be replaced?
Sorry if it sounds a little crazy..... but I don't have my p/u with me and I can't take a look at it.

Any info would be appreciated.

Not sure about your interior. But the OBS stock cloth replacements are not available. I would just get Katzkins leather covers.
