I just installed a nu image 3D billet cluster in my 03, Didn't unplug it didn't need to. I just popped of the old surround and put in the new one! Now get this:
The trip says "Viaje" instead of trip!
The Hours says "Horometro" instead of hours
The odometer says OD6Metro now.....WTF!!
How did I do this, and How do I get back to english? I disconected the battery for a few minutes thinking it may reset, but it didn't!
Thanks for any help or advice in advance!......Joe or maybe Jose now:LOL:

I'm not able to delete this thread or I would, I figured it out, with help from James at the Chevy dealer.....He's the husband of a co-worker...so glad she was hired!
It seems if you hold the reset button down when in odometer mode, after a few seconds it scrolls through different languages and when it gets to English ya let go!!.....Never knew I could do that!!.....Just thought I'd answer my own question and share the information with my FSC friends!!
Later Joe:burn: :burn:

Next time you have someone drive your truck you should put it in German or something and tell them you need them to make sure and set the trip meter and record the hours.
Thanks for letting us know. I am going to go change my brothers truck this weekend when he leaves it with me.

Ya,that would have been to ez! Didn't occur to me that the answer would be in the manual! Live and learn!....I'll know next time.....I won't bother FSC'ers with stupid questions, so they can respond with sarcasm!:smokin:

My truck did this the other day. I used my #2 set of keys and I was like WTF? I looked in the manual and found the answer. I can't figure out why mine changed. It's funny to cause even the radio changes languages with this command............

Well I was installing the billet gauge benzel at the time, and lining up the needles again:rolleyes: It was an ez install everything went smoothly, then this happened, kinda freaked me at first. I guess I held the reset button down when i put the gauge face on!...all is well now!..Thanks!
