converting to power windows

Looking at a 2000 SL Sierra

I would like to have power windows but just wondering how much I would be looking at to convert them. I am assuming wiring, motor, regulator, switch. Can the original door panel be used or do you need a different panel.

Anyone done this before. Thanks

I've seent it done before and everything you mentioned above is correct. There's a aftermarket kit you can buy and the same door panel can be used but you'll have to modify the existing door panel for the button switch,not that hard. Usually goes where the window knob was.

If you want a relatively easy way out you can get a universal kit that uses your manual regulator with a motor that spins the manual crank. Of course the actual crank is removed and a cover is fit over it so it looks pretty clean.
