damn i was hopin i could find some on ebay, but no luck as far as being a decent price, hell they are like 150 or so from the stealer.

yea it sucks... I have blown mine twice and paid the $130 for mine from the dealer.

I have now idea exactly yet, something with my old system... Somebody stepped on a wire in the back of my truck and the wires sparked connected to the amp. Everything else works fine after checking every fuse in my truck. Anywas the hvac controls shorted and wouldn't switch the vents from the defrost and the heat/cold setting didn't work. heres a pic I took a while ago. It's a really bad photo, and I think I circled where they fried (hard for me to tell also, lol)but I put cicles where it was fried. I didn't think I could fry them either. I have the hvac controls in my center console, I'll get a more detailed pic if you all are interested.

The printed circuit board is notorious for failing in these trucks.I replaced a set in my 96 just before i parted it out.
