How?? I tried once before, dash got jacked, and I need to do it now. Might as well do it myself and save the $$ of having to take it to a shop.
I removed the dash bezel all the bolts/screws from the front and sides then I removed the oh chit bar. I couldn't get the thing to budge. It felt like it still had a firm grip behind the pass side air bag.
Any info would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Ok, just found this on another site. I missed the two clips by the pass side airbag. Guy who asked for the info said that this was right on the money.
Hope this may help somebody.

To take out your dash cover (no wiring) first you need to take off the plastic trim surronding the stereo, a/c and what not. To take this off you need to put your foot on the brake and shift your tahoe into nuetral,d 3,etc.Then put your steering wheel as low as it will go. Then you just need to carefully pull outward on the trim where it meets your dash. Start on one side/corner and 2work your way around.
After you have that out then you shouold see some seven mm screw around the edge of the dash where the trim was. Take those out. On the drivers side of the dash you need to remove the cover hiding the fuses. Just pull out on it from the bottom. There should be 2 phillips head screws here take those out too. Then due the same to the cover on the passenger side. Then you are going to need to pull out the two vents on the passenger side. Be careful not to break them. There should be a 7mm screw in side each vent. Then to take off the handle above the airbag you need to put your hand in through the vent and Push in on the white clip at the same time pull out on that side of the handle. Do the same for the other side of the handle and work it all the way out. Then you just have two clips on the dash attaching by the airbag. All you have to do is pull the passenger side of the dash out a little bit and you should free the clips and the passenger side of the dash. The drivers side should already be free and just disconnect the light sensors on the dash cover (by the vents) and pull it out. I hope that wasnt to confusing....Let me know if you have any problems
