I found one of these seats on e-bay the color I need it. I'm pretty sure it will fit (please tell me if it won't). What I am wondering is how far does the passenger seat slide forward? I have 90 GMC extended cab but it is ony the two door. So I need to make sure this seat will slide forward far enough to let someone into the back. Also, I'd assume that since the 98 version of the seat is 60/40, where the drivers side is the 60% and the passenger is 40%, I'd need to get the mounting brackets for this to work, Right? The seat I have in my 90 model is the low back 60/40 also, but the passenger side is the 60%.
Thanks!

I dont see why not! The 88-98 cab congfigurations are about the same! The way your gonna find out if it works will be with the mounting brackets. Then you'll be able to know for sure if the seats slide and clear for someone to jump in the back!
But overall, I think I should work!
Not 60/40 so dont know if it helps or not,but my son has a 3 door 98 and his bucket seats on the pass side slide forward for rear entry.

Thanks for the input thus far...
Does anyone have this seat in their truck? If yes, how far does it slide forward?
BobB, how far does your sons seat slide forward?
Thanks!
I have a 97 ex cab and no 3rd door, the 98s seats move the same distance.
