The lights on my power window switches have burned out.
I took them apart and it appears that I'd have to buy a whole new assembly to fix it.
Does anyone know if it's fixible without buying a new one?

Mine have been out since I bought the truck. I was thinking the same thing as you.

on the 95 you can twist the lights out.
On a NBS i believe they are soldered in.

What about an '88? Are they supposed to light up?
If so, what kind of bulbs do they take?

i dont know about the window lights but my heated seat bulb went out and it just twists out.i found a bulb at radio shack that works just fine you just have to twist the wires around the platics thing and put it back in.the bulbs were like 3 for a buck.i can get the part number if you need.i have 2000 gmc sierra ext cab.
