Headlit and pwr mirror switches...light up???

I just got my 1997 K2500 and I have noticed that everything lights up at night except the power mirror switch and the headlight switch. No backlights in those...should there be?

The headlight switch should light up,

Not sure on the mirrors, but i think so

yep they both should light. the mirror switch has bulbs but they can't be replaced without breaking the switch. for the headlight switch, i know lmc truck offers the bulbs, it just screws into the bottom of the switch housing.
