I may be wrong it's been a while since I've been here, but I believe the rules state you must list a price on each item.

In which case I would appreciate a price on the tailgate handle relocater.

Yeah, no biggie. I wouldn't have seen either with the for sale forums changing so much. The rules page is when you first go to for sale you have to scroll down, it's a sticky. Kind of out of the way, I'm sure they will be putting the sticky in the sub forums as well for people to see.

What all is included in the Handle relocater, is it what you would get in a kit? I've never done one myself, or for that matter seen one being done.

Back on point. 30 Shipped sounds good, If it is indeed what I will need to complete the job. I could get the money out to you this week. I would PayPal it as usualy, but I just closed the bank acount that my PayPal was linked to and opened 2 savings acounts. I would have to USPS the payment which would probably get there next week sometime.

Yeah its all you need long as you still have a tailgate handle and the bezel. Then the handle and bezel go in the relocator on the inside of your tailgate like this pic then you get a piece of 18-20 guage steel and weld the outside up.

i have a piece of steel that should work and i could give it to you free of charge if you need the handle and bezel it would be $50 shipped.

yeah, i wouldn't need the handle and bezel. However the piece of sheetmetal would save me some hassle. P.S. what'ts the pro's/cons of using a tailgate skin or just welding it shut?

I dunno I dont like tailgate skins because thy arent very strong and dont have a backing to them. Now are you talking about welding the whole tailgate shut so you cant open it? or welding up the hole where the handle is suppose to go? A relocator in my opinion is way better then a skin. You tac weld the hole then grind the welds smooth then use your bodyfiller and primer/paint. Tailgate skins I believe are glued on? Im not exactly sure but they are weak and flimsy. If your talking about welding your whole tailgate shut like I have done. I no longer can load my dirtbike etc so it can be a pain but the back of the truck will be smooth. This is why I dont need the relocator anymore.

yeah im just talking about welding the hole shut. Which is what I originally planned on doing. I'll still want my tailgate to load my Hayabusa I plan on buying.

umm.. that is just the head contol unit, the actual radio receiver is down under the dash, maybe you know this and just took a pic of the head unit. but i have tried to hook up that style radio on the bench before, and it won't work cause there was no receiver, i was told this by many mechanics.

i don't actually know what it looks like, but theres supposed to be a box, down below/behind the dash which is the recevier.

what kind of head unit do you have, like a cd player is it aftermarket. that already has a recevier built in, if its a radio tape deck unit, then its built in, only 88to 94 had that style radio with a seperate head unit and receiver, pre88,and post 94 factory had the head unit and receiver as one. if someone needed a factory head unit for 88to 94 then that would work, but if they needed the actually radio, then it wouldn't work.

then no you don't need the receiver. it shouldn't be hooked up then. tell me did you put the cd player where the tape deck was in the middle of the dash. i'm not a 100% sure but i believe that may be part of the reciever. i'm just not a 100% familiar with that radio setup, i usually try to deal with the radio tape deck units. where was the antenna wire hooked when you installed the cd player. that should be the reciever.

My deck is in the middle right below the two vents? Ive had it so long I dont even remember having a tape deck as it didnt have one when I got it and now I have a hidden antenna so if the receiver was with the stock antenna I probably threw it away.

i really don't know what to tell you. i mean you can sell the head unit for the price you have, but the only way i can see someone needing it is if there head unit is busted.

do you know if the radio worked, when you got the truck, since you say it didn't have the tape deck.
