View Full Version : Solid to Tilt Steering column

Didn't see this in here, but I might be mistaken.
I have a 96 Cheyenne. No tilt steering wheel and it is awfully high set. I'm not really asking for details, but I would like to know if you can switch the set column for the tilt steering column BEFORE I spend the money on one. LOL
All the little details, I can figure out on my own. I think. I hope. :D

That makes 3 of us, Im pretty sure its a straight bolt in thing, I dont imagine much would change but i havent really looked too deeply into it

I kind of think so too...... but I'd hate to find out there is a length difference. LOL. I don't think it would do me any good if the steering wheel ends up two feet over the dash. LOL.

hmmmmmmmm, I know there are alot of people that work in the Chevrolet Industry that could at least answer a few questions.... Or tell us a little something for or against this idea..... :stir:
I really hate the position of the 96 cheyenne wheel. The 94 wasn't that bad, I could even live with that, but I would rather have the tilt. :banghead:

Its a bolt in procedure ....
everything is the same, bolt it up the plugs will plug in and adjust to your desired height lol :)
