When u get the seats just ground it and use a hot from a battery and see what works. That is what I did. Once I fugured it out I just brought wires from under the dash.

Yep, that should get you up and running. I'm getting ready to buy some leather buckets out of a Mustang Cobra, and do the same thing.

Not for sure, but make sure that your truck doesn't already have the wires there for them. A lot of times everything will be in at the factory for what ever options...can't remember if mine has it or not...don't think so, but mine was the work truck...bare minimum.

The harness should work for you, just remember where it hooked up from the doner.

does your bench have the power lumbar setup, and are the buckets you bought also from a chevy truck? if yes to both, then just plug in the harnes from the lumbar and it will run everything on the power buckets.

all trucks are set up to run a power drivers seat. The plu is the same from one to another. So wether you had just lumbar in the bench or a cheap set the plug will have all three wires for the power tracks and the power lumbar. FYI!! If you have power seats and want to swap a set of heated Suburban Seats into your truck you will have to run the wires for the heat function. Do not run the heat functions off of the power harness for the tracks!! You will probably end up cooking the ground strap or the power wire. It needs independent power sources. The passengers side is a little more elaborate. They have set up a ground loop through the seat belt. This is to keep the seat from working when no one is actually setting in the seat. It can be bypassed by why? Might as well leave it off(the switches on either on or off and usually get left on) if no one is in it.

This is good to know. Like SKIVHERE, My truck was a Cheyenne work truck, so I kind of assumed that the electrics wouldn't be there. :twak: There is that assuming thing again.

Now I just have to find the seats and get after it huh? LOL
