need serious opinions now

OK i am going to pick up my vinyl tomorrow. it is allimate style, looks like suede almost, it has no texture. anyways, my interior is painted gloss black. the headliner, console lid, and door panels insterts are going to be covered with the vinyl. my question is this: for the plastic trim onmy 03 buckets, should i upholster it in vinyl, or keep it painted?? the clear is kinda crappy and im gonna re-shoot it on. but i got thinking that it might actually look good with the vinyl on. the only thing i need to do is figure out how much this stuff will stretch with a heat gun, cuz that piece is kinda curvy. but yeah, either painted or vinyl. the seats will eventually be black leather. thnks for any input. as soon as i get a cam, ill show everyone. but right now my $$ is going into the interior to get it done. thanks again

i'd stay with paint, hard to keep stuff stickin to plastic, if you start stapling you have to find short enough staples that the won't poke through and vinyl shows any small pieces of dirt(so keep it clean if you do).

and when going around corners at the end you have to make a bunch of cuts to get it to lay right without showing wrinkles . . .
