broken interior door handle!? please help.

99 obs 4 door tahoe....



the door handle on driver side is broken! ive been unable to open from the inside for a few days, but can still open from the outside....anyone had this problem...how much do you think this will cost to fix?

Remove the door panel, drill out the handle rivet, put in new handle, put door panel back on. It's a very common problem. The handle is made of pot metal and gets weak over time. What color are your handles? I have some neutral(light sand) colored handles sitting around.

I have heard NAPA carrys them. Cheaper in the long run than C/K Resto's shipping

Dealership usually has them in also. I think I paid around $25 for one, not as cheap as other places, but I needed it! Easy install too!

if you wanna dress your interior up alittle you could go with the chrome escalade ones instead of the gray one
