If you guys saw my pictures, I got the offer on the truck today.
I am going to keep it and sell. $1300 obo as is. (sorry, put the wrong price in the title)
1996 Suburban K1500 with 9.5" SF rear end from a 1994 K2500 (has only 115K on the rear now), new front and rear brakes, could use tires, but we can work something out, just ask, has L31 Vortec 350 and 4L60E in excellent running shape. Has AM/FM Cassette/CD, barn doors. Newer (lifetime warranty from Autozone) alternator and battery only 18-20 months old. Front shocks are newer, but I don't care for them. The rear shocks are only 10K miles old, new when the rear end went in back in November.
Truck has 233K miles and runs and drives excellent.
She runs and drives fine as is, just munched. The frame has some damage, but might be able to be fixed easily (they only said it needed 1hr frame straightening time) and I found a front clip same color for $1000 on car-part.com.
PM me. I'll post more pictures of the it if people are interested.

Thanks!

Around 300 miles. I am in 53114. We could meet halfway if you are seriously interested. I don't have enough time to drive all the way there and back.
I am not planning on parting it out, I don't have a place for it (no garage).
I have the 8.5 rear end housing too (it has a 14 bolt 9.5" SF in the truck now), so it is a tough rear end, so the 8.5" is also for sale, no carrier or gears, just the end to end housing and axles/backing plates, just add a carrier and R&P and you have a drop in rear.
Oh, it has the buckets, silver interior. Driver's seat has a broken weld on the front left corner, maybe now that I am not driving it, I will actually fix!

At this point after viewing all photos I am very interested in the truck.I need a respectable roomy vehicle(looking ahead for when the time comes to start a family). On monday I'll be looking around for someone to tow it for me.Im 20 min drive from 55605,Ill assume 10-12 hr drive from you.
a few quick questions...
-was it totalled by insurance with a salvage title or what is the title(not too sure about WI salvage or rebuilder laws)
-If the title is clear is it possible to obtain a WI temporary day permit to drive it home(or to MN border)
-If I do end up buying it,paying you in full now, would you consider storing it for any amount of time?(next time I will be down that area will be june 3rd)
-Would you know anyone that could deliver for a fee to duluth MN/superior WI area and I could meet them for pick-up
thanks for your time.
p.s.I'd have pm'd ya but if it dosent work out for me,some one else may find this info useful.

Give me a call, two two four - seven one five - niner five one one on my cell. We can talk about it. I am at church in the morning, but you can call me after 1pm, I should be home by then. I'll be up to around 11pm tonight, so if you get this right away, holler. I can see if I can find a person who might drive up there and deliver it.

Where does it say that? it is supposed to be a public folder there. ?
Just click on Truck Pictures.

I have a ton more picts in the 5-14 Truck Pictures folder.
If you want to see something special, please let me know.
If you look at picture 047 in the 5-14 folder, you will see that the front gravel pan isn't even stressed. The picture of the ABS sensor is there, the frame damage that I suspect is just forward of it, and very minor.

As of now, we still hold the title, it hasn't been changed to anything. I know we have to fax them something and mail the original, but I don't think it is the title. It was totalled by insurance, with all new parts and labor, it is just too expensive to fix.
I still have valid plates, so that isn't a problem to get there.
Being I have the plates and all, as long as I move it every once in a while, the city won't bother me on keeping it here.
