I have a basic understanding of the whole fiberglass process, but I would like to know if anybody has any advice on how to make fleece/t-shirt material stick to my dash piece. I dont want this falling off or cracking.

I know people who have tried to do door panels with little sucess because the whole fiberglassed part ended up falling off. Should I drill a few port holes and resin and mat the structure from the other side as an anchor so to speak?

your dash should just be able to be sanded and painted, but if you really want to put fiberglass on it drill a bunch of holes and resin the hell out of it. also go straight to chop mat for this as fleece or t-shirt material will never stick.

I want to mold my three air gauges into my radio bezel where the vents typically are. It is no big deal on my truck, because I have no vents, as my truck must have been the white trash version from the factory.

so this is the bezek not the actual dash? if so just rough it up with some 36 grit and go to town..no holes needed.
