After much trial and error with many different products and wives tales and home remidies, I finally found something that got the water spots off of my windows. I was watching Hot Rod TV (or something to that effect) and they were talking about using Bar Keeper's Friend to get off the water spots. I was a little doubtful at first, but gave it a try. Now there are no more red spots and the tint looks great now! It even cleans up chrome real nice (echo tips, bumpers..) I reccomend it to remedy your spot problems. Great stuff!

Sorry, i missed your original post.
I use windex, fine steel wool, and windex again for a perfect, clean look.

yeah, i first posted about this a couple months ago... Loki and Brandon were helping me out. I tried steel wool, but i guess mine wasnt fine enough cause it slightly scratched my inconspicuous test spot. But barkeepers friend is great!! Thanks for the advice!

well, all you have to do is
wet down rag. squeeze out excess water
remove only enough of the top sticker on can to expose 2 holes
sprinkle some powder onto rag
rub windows thouroughly
follow with Glass Plus or windex
should come out good!
*use at your own risk, however... just in case..!*
Also good for nerf bars, step rails, chrome bumpers, and echo tips.
