first off, just gonna say hello and my name is todd.

i have a 79 c10 pickup and i'm having some electrical issues, which i think are coming from the steering column. my brake lights only work when they want to and the same with my turn signals, front and rear. i figure since i'm gonna have to fix all that i might as well try to swap in some new interior. my question is, how hard would it be to do a complete interior swap from the 99+ silverados into my truck? is it going to be pricey? i've had this truck for a long time now and i was just gonna replace most of the interior to the original styling from lmc and get a new cluster from dakotadigital, but i'm not a huge fan of the way those clusters look... especially for the $600 or whatever they are now. i also like the new interior styling. thanks in advance for any help.

1) it's gonna be very hard. prolly a 8 out of 10, assuming you know alot about the nbs interiors.
2) it's gonna be pricey. the dash alone will run 300 bucks, then there's the bcm which is another 300 and it hides behind the dash. you might have 1k in the dask and 2k in the rest of the interior. granted the prices are a little high on the estimate, but you wanna overshoot that way you're in the clear.

this is all assuming you're really good at fabicrating things.

no problem. i was looking at swapping my 92 to an 02 and it was like wow! that's crazy. and all i wanted to do was the dash. you could always do the dash and door panels and then custom everything else and potential save about 1 and 1/2 thousand...

or you likely can find it at the junkyard or ebay which you might able to find a good shape and cheap price

there was a guy on here for a cheap dash was lookin for 300 and the bcm was another 300. then you're more than likely gonna need 2 dashes cause the first one you're gonna fu## up test fitting so the second one is your best bet. then there's the door panels, and the rest of the interior.

i have been very dreary on the idea and i apologize, i think that interior in a square body would look freakin sweet!

I really dont think 95+ Door panel would not fit in truck before 1988 and Up....unless there is something that will make it fit.
