Steering wheel controls???

Can I upgrade to the steering wheel radio controls by just adding the stering wheel or is the wiring not there for it?

'06 Silverado 2500 DMAX

[Tahoe 400]

I am not to sure about what is all involved in the 03+ trucks, but on the older ones you also need a new steering wheel clock spring and wiring to the radio.
