What I have to do to remove seat brackets from the base. I mean I have a 1985 Chevy Blazer the Front Bucket are wider and worn out I bought some 90 Blazer seat and the brackets dont meet where the 85 Blazer seat did. So I have 2 option one make new holes in the truck or make new holes on the seat both need bolts behind the bracxket to b secure I believe this will tear them both up.

My newest idea is to take the seat housing from the 90's and put it on the track of the 85's what do you think has anyone ever does this. Is the special brackets I can purchase to not damage either?

Please really what to know how cann I remove the seat base from the gliding base bottom?

Can anyone suggest a good universal seatbracket?
:dunno:

When I swapped from a bench to buckets in my 88 truck I took the brackets off the bench (One on each side) and bought a couple more from a guy on here, then I just bolted them to the sliders that came on my buckets. I did drill new holes in the truck to fit, but it was no big deal. I duno if that helped but good luck.
