Cluster Question

I got an 88 pickup with the white bar instrument cluster, I was wondering if a cluster from a 94 (with the needles) would work instead, I think it would look better.

There's an article in the Technical section about this. A lot of people have done it. The article is kinda old and I think might need to be updated, but in a nutshell you need the new cluster (92-94, grab one w/a tach while you're at it), the wiring harness connector to it with some extra wire to work with (cut it long), and the DRAC module from the truck the cluster came from. Then you got a little hacking to do. It's not really hard but it's not a drop-in deal.
