2000 tahoe center console/fold down middle seat question

does anyone here put any kind of different matting down to help prevent objects from sliding so much? gets pretty annoying ahtt anythng heavy or light goes sliding front to back constantly.

you talking about the top of the lid?
I think www.peformanceproducts.com or www.stylinconcepts.com sells a pad for it, but actually a mouse pad might work too :dunno:

Go to a store with a housewares section, target, walmart, whatever. They make rubber non skid padding to line drawers, I even found some black to match the color of the plastic. Then get some double sided tape and stick it in. $1.49 for a roll and I did the inside of the console too and have a bunch left over.

You can't really see a lot from the pics since its black like the plastic, heres the console inside, the black I cut to shape matching the bottom and the one in the top tray is the same stuff.
