Hey guy's I just found this ad on DFW.forsale thought I would pass it along looks like it might be a good truck.
I'm selling my 1989 Chevy Scottsdale 3/4 Ton (HD Version) 4x4 for $2,300. It
has a GM crate 350 with about 50,000 on it. Runs and sounds great.
I drive it from Little Elm to Downtown Dallas everyday so there are no major
issues. The A/C works. The front seat has been converted to the "Southern
Comfort" leather seat and also has the matching steering wheel.(The set is
out of a newer Chevy)
It has manual windows and locks with tinted windows. It has a Class III
hitch on the back as well as a spot in the bed for a goose neck, the light
hookup is already there.
Cosmetically it could use some minor work. The passenger side door and
fender (where they meet) has some minor dents that can be fixed easily and
the door around the handle has some dents. Also on the drivers side cab
corner there is a small rust hole, but it's nothing serious. I got a quote
for about $100 for a local shop to fix.
I'm pulling my radio out so you will need to buy a radio. This already has
the conversion to relocate the stereo to where the stock tape player was.
If youre interested in seeing the truck please call me at 972-215-9669. It's
a great truck for the price. This would make a great work truck or tow rig
of course I've been daily driving it so it can wear that hat as well.
