95 silverado illumination problem....

i have a 95 silverado i bought recently and everything worked fine. Now the dash other gauges dont illuminate when u switch on the head lights. i thought it was a just a fuse, but i checked it, and even replaced it just in case and still nothing. the blinkers, ses light, e-brake light still work, but nothin else... has this ever happened to anybody else ?

Check your dimmer switch.

im sure its still good cause if i turn it all the way up till the click for interior lights, everything works fine...Dose anybody have any wiring diagrams for a 95 1500 silverado ?

Dimmer switch or headlight switch. I had the exact same thing happen on my '83 firebird, it turned out to be the dimmer switch.
