help with spray adhesives

im using the 3m super 77 to do my interior and the parts that have curves wont stay glued down. do i need to lay these loose then tighten the edges or there a trick to this?

What I have done in the past is to make sure your letting it get plenty tacky and also if possible spray a light coat on the material also... Work in small sections dont stretch it a lot...
