Gas Pedal

On a '06 Chevy Silverado 1500 is there an easy way to stiffen up the pedal? My dad went from an '89 2500 to the '06 1500 and he doesn't like how easy it is to push the pedal and would liek more resistance. Is this somehting that can be done?

I am looking for the same thing on my hoe. Yours might be a little tougher though cause you dont have a mechanic linkage from the pedal to the throttle body.

I was searching on the same subject as I have that same issue on my 2001 Suburban. I found this thread which doesn't really help but it does show that there isn't an "easy" fix for it and the dealer doesn't know anything:
