View Full Version : 1989 K3500 w/SAS b454rat 09-02-2006, 08:56 AM delete b454rat 09-03-2006, 11:10 AM offers AZdragger 09-03-2006, 12:26 PM figure to subtract the cost of the plane ticket for me to fly out there, and then the gas to get back to AZ..................... I'll giv eya $50 hard cash right now for it :D j/k look up kbb for it, and find a decent average and then add some of the swap and equipment costs onto it, and come up with a decent price with a obo maybe :dunno: b454rat 09-03-2006, 12:39 PM Can't do the KBB thing on it, there isn't a straight panel on the truck. IIRC the lowest they go is like $1500 or something. The TBI 454 runs damn near perfect, the HP60 that alone is at the least $1k, all rebuilt and with GM outers, 4.56s and P/L, rear 14ff with 4.56s and a Detroit and rebuilt/install kit, and brand new 40" boggers with 15x12 Bart wheels, just that stuff there has to be worth something. I was thinking between 4-5k for it, I don't know. Really frustrated right now..... AZdragger 09-03-2006, 01:27 PM you htought about posting it on ebay????? could do your local www.craigslist.com :dunno: b454rat 09-03-2006, 03:52 PM Thought about both, but Craiglist would be just about worthless, nonone around here will spend any money, and once it does sell, I don't want to see again. TikiClub2 09-04-2006, 03:05 PM Me being in Texas and you being in NY would be the deal braker  how much are you looking to sell it for? Consider shipping the whole truck? I know you don't want to part out but I would consider buying multiple parts (ORU kit, ORU steering, ect). PM me please b454rat 09-04-2006, 07:24 PM Pm sent on Pirate... ryanroo 09-07-2006, 01:23 AM id be interested in the oru brakets if you part as well. id take the whole truck, but NY is a hell of a drive and i have no way to get it back. then there is that whole selling the wife on the deal Ryan b454rat 09-07-2006, 04:51 PM If I keep the truck, the ORU is coming off anyway, just need to take it to my buddy's place so he can make the crossmember up front. b454rat 09-08-2006, 07:53 PM $4500 BO, or parting it out. $2k in new 40" boggers 15x12 8 lug rims, rebuilt HP60, 4.56s GM outers, 14ff with 4.56s, Detroit, rebuild/install kit. Right there alone is $4k in parts. That doesn't include the TBI 454, TH400, Ford case w/VSS parts, ORU kit, steering, etc. b454rat 09-09-2006, 09:26 PM ttt TikiClub2 09-13-2006, 07:46 PM bump for a good guy  don't let this one go to the auction either! I wants it  b454rat 09-14-2006, 03:16 PM This one won't go to the auction, after I take all the parts off it will go in my buddy's junkyard. Inless someone needs a 1 ton cab and paperwork. TikiClub2 09-14-2006, 08:14 PM You sold anything off it yet besides the hangers? :banghead: b454rat 09-14-2006, 08:25 PM No not yet. Got some offers on the axles, but nothing solid yet. I need to get the whole thing out of here, gonna be getting the 90 CC soon, and I don't want to tick my landlord off, he is nice enough to let me work on and keep my stuff here. drptop70ss 09-14-2006, 09:21 PM sent you a PM, interested in the truck, not sure if I could get the whole thing because it sits so high I dont know how it would sit on a trailer. b454rat 09-15-2006, 03:44 PM Pm'd yah back. Without the tires on it, it's not that big. Besides it's only about 6-7" of lift. Check out this pic, trailored it from Colorado to Bingo like this. The back wasn't lifted yet, but the front was about 15". Didn't have one problem. After that the rear is coming out, then off to the junkyard where the motor/trans/computer/harness and gastank will be pulled. TexMax 09-18-2006, 07:33 PM Probly alot by now, the front end is out of it, and the kit is coming off shortly. After that the rear is coming out, then off to the junkyard where the motor/trans/computer/harness and gastank will be pulled. I'm sorry. Thats gotta suck pulling everything apart that you worked so hard to put together. Again i'm sorry b454rat 09-19-2006, 04:30 PM Yeah it sucks. But I'm also excited about getting the 90 CC. I will build another truck like that someday, but for now I need a d/d, something that the wifey and little one can ride in. The wife wouldn't/couldn't get into the 89. She's only 5'4". chromechevy 09-19-2006, 10:31 PM LoL ya, my wifes 5'2 but mananged alright TikiClub2 09-19-2006, 10:34 PM Glad to hear money is comin in man  b454rat 09-20-2006, 07:31 PM I can't say rolling in, but I sold the truck and that was the biggest bill. I haven't sold crap off the 89. Nothing. So screw it, gonna put the front in and run it till I figure out the 90 CC. vBulletin® v3.8.2, Copyright ©2000-2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
