I went with a product called Damplifier from www.secondskinaudio.com Here is a link to some of my pics http://chevytruckworld.tenmagazines.com/gallery/firebu1/249585.jpg
I went with second skin for a couple of reasons
1. Cheaper than dynamat
2. I read a comparrison of several different "sound deadeners" at http://www.sounddeadenershowdown.com/

There is also a wealth of info on the forum at second skin's website http://www.secondskinaudio.com/forums/index.php

So far I have used 80sq ft in my truck, and I'm gonna eventually add another layer, then some closed cell foam on top of everything

If you have any questions, ask away

The cheapest way to go is to find a friend/family member that works at Best Buy. The employee discount on Dynamat is REDICULOUS!

I bought some of he Dynamat Extreme stuff on Amazon.com. It was the bulk pack that is 36 square feet and was like $129. This stuff has the heatshield, so you get better sound deadening than the regular stuff, plus cooler cab temperature. Haven't installed it yet though.

best buy does have it, but mark up is rediculous on it, a trunk kit is 170 bucks, employee cost is around 70. so shooping around on the internet you could probably deffinitly find if for cheaper.

I used Fatmat as well. I've read that it isn't as thick, nor does it work as well, but I went that route anyway to save alot of money. I picked up a 100sq. foot pack for 79.99+ shipping on ebay.

Finished installing it 2 days ago, and the difference is obvious. I don't know how much better the dynamat, etc. could be, but fatmat seems to be doing exactly what I wanted it for....cutting out alot of the road/exhaust noise.

I used RAAMMat, it seems to be second to second skin. Its pricey yet not as pricey as dynamat and goes on nice and easy.
