Full Floor Console!

Hey guys, im sure youve been asked this before but anyways. I want to put a full floor console in my truck and get rid of the flip up one. Question being how hard are they to find at a wreckers? New they are way to much to even think about. I appreciate any help. Thanks

Try checking you local paper. That's where I found mine. I bought my leather seats (with wiring harness) and the full center console along with all the associated dash pieces for $500.00 :D I know I got a REALLY good deal but there are other's ike mine out there. Just have patients an dhave money set aside so when a deal does come up you can jump on it.

I found mine ata wreckers for $25.00!!! the only thing i had to do was buy the cupholder and DYe it my color...total...$60.00 :naughty:

Wow, you guys definately lucked out. How hard was the conversion?. Leather seats would be a bonus but what i really want is the console. Were yours from guys that had taken them out for some reason or from wrecked trucks? Thanks for the replys.

What exactly do i need besides the main console, such as associated dash pieces?

hey this is sweet. i have been trying to find a truck that has this dont. im doing it as soon as i can find the seats. i have tan and hate it. how bout that supercharger? how do you like it. im trying to save up for one?

yah im doing the same thing..what did those consoles come out of? All GM ext cab trucks? Yukons? jsut so i know what im looking for at the wreckers..

WEll i got a console...and you DEFIENTLY need a dash piece... its the lower dash cover for the passenger side...so i need to find one now...somehow...

ebay it. ive got one coming from ebay $35 for everything. i also bought one from the junk yard that did not contain the lid or storage unit, and i never could find just a lid and storage. weve only got 2 wreckers in my area so its pretty limited.

is there a gap where ur console meets the dash?

not on ur truck....u jsut need the console and dash piece...02 and lower has a dash gap

This is the next mod (along with a overhead console with Homelink) that I want to do on my truck.

I have a 2500HD SLT with the fold down console/seat.... can you just remove this and replace it with a full console? The main difference that I see is the leather seats that I have right now do not have arm rests like the trucks/SUV's with full consoles. Also, has anyone done this conversion on a truck with a floor shifter (my truck has a floor shifter for 4WD)?

on a 03+ truck you need the console adn the glove box trim peice to make it work...

On a 4wd with floor shifter..your best bet is to find a 99-02 center console..and jsut use the main piece...not the secondary piece...Pretty much what the guy with the grey Interior above has.....the full onsole wont clear the floor shifter

here my swap for my 99rcsb....and yes the charcoal from 99-02 and the charcoal from 03+ are not the same color.....Theres a 6.5" sub inside my console too.....

if you find one adn want all tehs tock internals, blower tube, wiring, BOSE audio setup w/amp let me know..I gutted my console of the Bose stuff and wiring

I have a 2003 silverado, there seems to be quite a few tahoe consoles floating around would it be somewhat of an easy swap currently I have the flip down middle seat.

Is there a difference between the silverado fulllength console and the tahowe full length console.

Looks like there are going to be a few people looking for consoles in the near future. We need to let each other know if we have bid on Ebay so we don't start a bidding war among ourselves :D .
