I was watching this console on ebay, thought maybe I could get it! Gray, a perfect match...I really like my truck, but no way I could I pay this much for one! Does anyone here think this is a good deal:rolleyes:

Damn, $480.00 for a center console. Ebay: audio/HVAC medium gray BOSE powered subwoofer armrest. Maybe that is why???? Idk.

There is clearly a lot of demand for that part, I have found however that on ebay you can pay 30-40 percent more than a local purchase.

A good local cabinet shop might make you a custom one for a couple hundred and then you can get it made how you want it.

I hear ya Joe. My wife is putting her foot down on a exhaust for the Silverado. We walked away with more money from the sale of the house so I'm like "Its time for an exhaust":.......nope. So we just dropped 700$ on doorknobs, cabinet handles and a microwave :mad:

If you price one from the factory, that may turn out to be a good deal. It has more chit than my '01 full console... I dunno if mine has a fan or not, but mine doesn't have the controls on the rear, just the crappy cup holder, 2 A/C vents, and a cubby hole.

^^:dunno: I didn't bid bc I don't want one!!(a divorce) She loves me, but theres limitations, and I didn't want to take the risk!! Very expensive, been there, don't want to be there any time soon:nutkick::digger:

Dana I hear ya...remember the faucets!!! I haven't done that yet!!! But I'm reminded often!!

I had to replace my center console ref. top compartment door broke off. I finally couldn't take it anymore and found a guy on ebay that sells overstok for a nearby dealership. I'm looking for his info now and will post it for you.

If you put that in your truck, you will have NO armrest and your son and wife can never both ride with you again...good thing you didnt by it.

I love my center flip and wouldnt change it for a console for nothing.

it's a little 6.5" in the front bottom, it vents on the right front.

Its a small 6" (I think?) in the front of the console inside.

Thats what a crew cab is for!! I Love the console on my 05. The armrest are made in to the seat so its good.

Same here...I love the jump seat just wished it was a little higher quality...that thing creaks and rattles like a bish!

And I'm pretty sure that is the going rate for a loaded factory console.

Doubtful, you ever ship one of those? When I got mine, it came in a HUGE box. When I sold my jumpseat, I paid more than that for UPS to send it to Washington. Those things are big, (newer ones are one piece) and hard to package to ship. That sounds about right.
