The front seats in my 94' F/S Blazer are getting to the point, where I'm riding a bull while driving. OK maybe not that bad, but the seats are starting to rock on the tracks. I checked GM parts direct for replacement parts, but it's almost $600.00. I was thinkning of going to the salvage yards and checking.

Nothing wrong with the cloth just the tracks. Will 95 and newer seats fit/adapt to the power connection? Maybe I should just get 95/newer leather?

If you can maybe take some pics of the connections on your assembly now. I know that 96-98 have three motors that control seat movement so you would need to have three connectors. Really though the 96-98 tracks are gonna be the same way except i think they bend easier. Were your tracks are like on edge ours are flat and basically ride on plastic slider pieces. I know i have gone totally gone through the tracks on my 98 and there is still play in them. This is just a flaw in the design of these seats.

Heres some pics of how our tracks look and how i tried to fix one that the previous owner had broken.
In this pic you can see how i had a piece of aluminum stock welded to the outside and inside of the track to help stabilize it and keep it from bending anymore than it already obviously has.

I have since replaced that slider with one from ebay. Thats really all i can tell ya. Hunt ebay and periodically someone will be parting out a truck or suv and will have the complete tracks for sale.
