Leather instead of carpet.

I'm going to be doing my headliner and my ragtop inner liner in leather. I will also probably do the gun shaped part of the door panel. But I was also thing about doing my floors in leather... I was thinking about getting a thin closed cell foam and glueing it to my floor and then gluing the leather over that. Any thoughts on this? I know I have seen leather used before I just can't remember where i seen it. would look nice, although you would need to cover it really well anytime you drive the vehicle or its gonna look like ass real quick:crazy:

The best way to do it if your gonna drive it is do most of the floor in leather, then have a carpet insert under your pedals. Or you can do the whole floor and put a mat or towels down when you drive.
