reprogram Mile Counter - Escalade Gauges

Do I jsut take it to the GM dealer to reprogram them....does the console have to be out of the truck??

I think it has to be in the truck and as far as I know just take it to the GM stealership and tell them you need it programed. But I could be wrong.
