I'm waiting for a reverse glow gauge to arrive. 97 full size truck
on top of that I remover all idiot lights and checked the color of
the icon.I am replacing the white bulbs on the idiot lights and turn signals with color mathed leds. If this glow gauge dosnt work well i'll just buy one that uses the stock gauge lights and replace
them with blue 6 led 194's(6 total for illumation) and stay with the idiot light swap out.
I'll post pics and let any one know wich is the way to go without blowing money on expermenting
I'm also doing a white standard bulb to blue led swap on the heater/a/c control and headlight switch assembly.
Also changing out the floor board and overhead counsole courtesy
lights to a 6 led, white 194 bulb.
I should have the gauges today1/8/07 the leds shouldnt arrive until mid week.

Ok I recieved the gauge overlay today and tested it with a 12v converter in my house looks great.
I removed all 6 of the needeels and placed the overlay over top of my stock face. Some of the indicator lights didnt line up perfect,
they were close but not perfect so I removed the stock face from the cluster, along with it came a foam gasket which seals the light from bleeding out from the indicators.
Also the stock face (removed) gave the indicators their color so changing the white indicator bulbs with colored leds is a must.
I removed the indicator light gaskets(2) from the back of the stock cluster with a razor blade and reglued them to the cluster with clear silicone.
Then align the glow face overlay and glue with silicone.I'm waiting for glue to set before changing and testing all bulbs.http://i134.photobucket.com/albums/q99/brettyz426/?action=view&current=whitefacegauges001.jpg
This is a pic of the indicator gaskets that need to be removed from the stock gauge face.
