Hey guys, I promised I'd keep you guys informed of my quest for a Caddy cluster for our 96-99 trucks. Well, after exhausting all of my "cheaper internet" alternatives, I went down to see my buddy at the dealership and ordered my cluster. Today he called me and told me that he couldn't get a cluster since they were discontinued, but he told me that I can drop my cluster off, and a week later, have the 120 MPH speedo and white needles and calibrated Caddy cluster for $238. So I'm gonna do it. For 2 reasons, 1) I put those indiglo gauges on my truck and when I popped the needles off, I don't think I put them on right on the money, so I want a "perfect" reading, and 2) I like to be unique and $238 is around the price guys are paying for the 99+ Escalade gauges....so I'm gonna do that, just letting you guys know that its a little more difficult to do, but still possible. Oh yeah, they change out my mileage also, I guess they just swap gauge faces and re-calibrate it. All in all I will just be without my cluster for a week and I can still roll without one, although I better drive a little slower...:)

So they are gonna give u the caddy cluster or just put the 120 mph grid where our 100 mph is? I am confused....but that is just cause i am a moron.
Thanks for doin all this man. Definetly on my "To Do" list.

I guess you could say they are taking my regular cluster, putting the caddy overlay on (with the 120 speedo) and putting the white needles on and recalibrating it to work with my truck. I guess my buddy told whoever is going it what I was doing, so they know I am putting a caddy cluster in a reg truck. We'll see how it turns out...:)

Wrong years there, bud. He's doing the swap of the '99-'01 Caddy cluster on a '95-'98 dash. You're thinking of the '02+ Caddy cluster in a '99+ truck.
