Broken seat

Okay I don't know what it's called but that little plastic/pot metal thing that is under the drivers seat broke. It's the part that when you fold the drivers seat forward, to allow rear seat passengers in and out, it returns the seat to it's set position, front to back and pitch. Does that make sense?
