Hey guys. About 2 years ago I ordered some Blue LEDS #194 for my dash on my 98. I bought some cheap LED's off some company on ebay. Well, I just had one burn out a few days ago. I went ahead and bought all new Blue LED's from superbrightleds.com I have heard good things about them. Just wanted to let people know not to buy cheap ones. They DO NOT last. Hopefully these will last longer.

I told someone the other night that I removed all the bulbs to give it the "stealth look", and they told me they liked it! I've been searchin' this afternoon for the LED's for my dash, and it looks like SuperBrightLEDs.com has the best deal on them. (with the exception of the ebay clowns)

Yeah, the cheap ebay clowns are definitely worthless. They looked good, but... didnt last near as long as I thought they would.

I don't know if this counts for anything but I put blue leds(9-bulb) under my dash and white ones in the door panels and I have had them running strong for over 2 years with no problems *knock on wood* I bought them all from superbrightleds.com

on my year model (1998) all I had to do was take the bulb out and replace with led no soldering involved. That may be the case on the newer trucks. :dunno:

there was a write up on gmfullsize about the door lock/window switches. They need to be soldered and you have to use resistors.

ive seen some guys wire up single LEDs with a resistor and run them off the stock harness, then just shove them into the bulb holes.
Ive had the superbright bulbs in my truck for about 3 years now and the only ones ive had go out are a couple T1.5's in the HVAC.

What size are the bulbs under the glove box and under the headlamp switch? I don't see them on the sylvania site

should be the regular 194 bulb. I put the 9led wedge bulb in mine. I have a 98

If they are bigger than 194's they are 1003's, thats the same problem i had finding what size led bulb it would use cause the sylvania site didnt say the right one. The only place i could find them were on http://autolumination.com/otherleds.htm
