First let me start by saying that I do not want to get rid of this truck!! If I could fit my family in it, I would keep it in a heart-beat.

91 RCSB
350 TBI
5 SPD
4WD
Mods:
3 inch Summit Racing Body lift
285 Truxus m/t's...rear have 80%tread, front have 50% tread
alum. 5 spoke wheels
Borg Warner Xtreme-duty clutch
New parts:
Alternator
Brakes...less than 5000 miles on 'em (all four corners)
Entire top end of motor re-built with;
new head gaskets
new intake gaskets
new TBI gaskets
3 angle valve grind on heads
new TPS sensor
new exhaust manifold gaskets
CV axle shafts
Wiper motor w/ delay
U-joints
Tune-up (plugs, wires, cap, and rotor)
Extra parts:
Spare motor parts
Heavy Duty plastic tool box
Cons:
Needs cab corners and rocker panels
Needs front 4WD actuator
Needs front 4WD drive-shaft (have the old one but slip yoke seized)
This truck has been driven like a truck and has it's share of nicks and scratches from wheelin', huntin', and fishin'.

I am asking 2200 O.B.O. This price is obviously open for negotiations and I am more than willing to deal. "I have too many trucks and one of them has to go NOW!!"..that's what the 'ol lady told me and as you all know, life is easier when she's happy. What I am trying to say is this truck HAS TO GO!! Shoot me an offer! I am willing to deliver (not too far) or we can meet in the middle...let's move this baby!:boobies:

208.xxx I think. The motor only has like 40,xxx, and the truck has been completely gone through. The only things left to "go out" on the truck are the rear-end, tranny, and front diff. I have ABSOLUTLY no problems with the mechanical side of the truck. The truck runs and drives perfect. Worst case scenario is the rear end goes (50-100 at your local salvage yard), and have you ever heard of a NV4500 or a front diff going out? I haven't, and that doesn't mean it doesn't and hasn't happened, but I don't have any problems with any of these so, the body has a lot of miles, but mechanically it has hardly any. I say this because I mostly drive my company work truck in the summer and in the winter I drive my plow truck, so this truck only gets driven once in a while.

When I say the motor has 40xxx on it, that means the bottom end only. The top end was completely gone through and re-built less than 2000 miles ago. :ehcapt:
I think I may have made a mistake. I believe that it might have a NV3500 trans and not a 4500...not sure but could check if someone wants.

If he sells that for under $1,600.00, your stealing it (Assuming all that has been said is done, is done).

what would the be the cost to get 4x4 working ?
TT Boy
04-12-2007, 12:42 PM
i am looking into getting a different actuator form a FSC member right now. If I were keeping the truck, I would get a full mechanical replacement from Summit ($170). As for the driveshaft, I did some research and you should be able to get a used one for under $60. Then new u-joints and you are set.
