Does the price of $4200 seem high for this kind of truck with so many miles?

Have you looked up the KBB value?

Yeah it's a little high. I was gonna buy a 92, had a Vortec 350, 4l80, doubler, 3" body, cowl hood, was SAS'd, bunch of other stuff, but I was gonna get it without the axles. Could have gotten it for $3000.

Yes.

I had a '93 GMC Yukon in whole much better shape than yours, and I sold it for $3,000. :bawl:

You sold yours way too cheap :(

I did a search on autotrader for a 300 mile radius of me and there are only about 25 92-94 Blazers available. Most have 175-200+k and a majority are listed at 5-7k. There are a couple around 3k, but they are absolutely destroyed.

2 door owners: in the laws of supply and demand we have the upper hand! 4200 is not too much if it runs good and (from looking at it) has little body damage/wear. You're lucky to find a rusted out, sputtering 4x4 around here for under 3 grand. Why should one that runs good and in good condition be sold for the same. :soapbox:

OK, I'm done ranting :) Free bump.

This is the gods honest truth. When I was looking for my 2door, there was a few close, NONE cheaper than $5000 and the one that was, said "needs trans rebuilt".
On an interesting note, I aswell have a former Govt 2door, and I also have manual windows/locks, AND am missing those rear interior panels..now I'm wondering if the Govt vehicles came WITHOUT those rear interior panels...
