I'm pretty sure it's possible to take the gauge cluster apart, and actually replace individual gauges. You can pick up a cluster on ebay pretty cheap, and swap the gauge from that. Just out of curiosity, I assume you have ruled out the fuel level sender being bad?

i replaced the sender and it worked for a month. and then no guage. so i warratied the sender no help i checked everything not stickin or anything. when full it reads quarter tank.

Look in the Tech Articles forum. There is an article on how to swap out your moonie style gauges to the '92-'94 needle style. I did it on my '90, looks much better. The swap is really not that hard. Here's my '90 with the new gauges and a Nu-Image face.
