noise coming from under dash

i have a rattling noise coming from under the dash of my 06 sierra. it's been doing it since i got it and i cant figure it out. it sounds like its coming from the hood release but it isnt. i can hold the release and something still makes noise. oh, and it seems to make the sound worse when im going around a corner. anyone heard of anything like this or can give me some advise on how to fix it? thanks

Welcome to the new GM trucks. My 05 does it to. There is a shaft inside the column that needs to be regreased. There is some info posted here on it. Very aggrevating??
