i know there is probably a thread out there somewhere that explains this but i just can't find any useful info. i have a 95 rcsb with manual locks/windows. i have bought power door panels, switches, window regulators, lock actuators, and wiring harnesses from the box under the dash to the door...all gm parts. i think it should be pretty straight forward but i'm not sure. is there any problem with the wiring that i need to address? i think that is my only concern. but if anyone has any info or pictures of this being done it would be really helpful. maybe we could compile a bunch of info and make a sticky because i have found a lot of unanswered questions out there.

you should have a wiring harness that runs from the GRY Connector at the firewall fuse block. this harness has all of the electrical wiring for locks/windows, pwr seats, and A/C Relays, etc in it. Plug that GRY connector into the slot on your fuse block plug in the other connectors at the doors and A/C relays and you should be set.

so i guess the fuse block is already wired for power? and where are the a/c relays or what do they look like? also the wiring harness is 2 separate pieces with 4 plugs that are on the opposite side of the harness from the switch so i'm assuming all of them need to go into the fuse block? if i didn't explain that well enough let me know and i can try and send you a picture of what i have

i will assume so im looking at the 96 dash i have in my living room right now. the harness that i have plugs into the fuse block at the location specified as GRY on the fuse block. the A/C relays and connectors im talking about are behind the glove box and found at the very top of the A/C box. there is three of them i believe. the leads to the A/C door motors might also have to be plugged in which case there are 3, one on the left, one in the center and one behind the blower motor at the firewall.
again im going off a 96 dash that i took from the junkyard. i remember the door lock and window harness being together with the A/C relays and motors, power seats and the dome light. the truck i pulled it all from was an extended cab.

yes. you see the connector that is above the one labled blk that is the GRY connector im talking about. ill assume for now that you have A/C in your truck the wires coming from this GRY connector should go to the relays and door motors of the A/C box. the kicker about this is this harness runs right up next to the firewall so without pulling the dash away from the firewall there will be no way to access it. so if you get that harness you will just unplug the connection that goes to the fuse box now, and tuck the new harness up under the dash and plug back into the A/C stuff or.....
you can get a new harness from a junkyard that has pwr locks/windows remove the wires that feed into the GRY connector put them into your existing connector shown in your pic and run the pwr window/lock connectors to your doors. this would be the route i would take if i was you b/c you wont have to mess with any of the A/C business. when i say remove them from the connector i mean take them out of the connector and only the wires that feed the locks/windows.

none of the connectors that on the wiring harness that i bought will plug into that GRY slot. i'm so confused. if you want to make some money i am in austin at least twice a month...lol
