My window in my 98 sierra has come undone. the rail that the window follows has broken off from the mount to the door itself. i reinstalled it on the sheared off mounting plate and it lasted for a few months. now the mounting tab is completely broken and i need to replace it. my question is: do i have to replace the entire window assembly, or can i just get the parts i need. cuz this could be the difference between a few bucks to a couple hundred. any help or tips you guys have will be greatly appreciated

When I had to replace the passenger side manual window regulator in my '03 Silverado last year, I had to buy the whole assembly. Unfortunately, I couldn't find it online, so I had to buy it from the dealership (although I installed it myself).
ETA: If I had it to do over again, I'd probably buy the part from LMCTruck.com (their price is better than the dealership).
