I have a 1999Blazer and I just got it. One of the dashboard lights comes on and off randomly. It's next to the seat belt light. It looks like the same thing, but it has a big ball in front of it. Can anyone please tell me what this is?

could be a bad clock spring. In my old 5.0 the air bag light blinks and the number of times it blinks is a code its throwing.

Like Timmee said! It's a picture of the deploid air bad. The reason why it goes on and off is GM figured the times you're most likely to fet into an accident. Kidding! Get it checked out. Till you get it fixed be sure to only wreck when the light is off!

If it is the clock spring upgrade it to a 00-03 s-10 blazer w/audio controls on the steering wheel. No more $ thatn the factory one and it is plug and play. Then get a wheel and plug it into the radio. Instant steering wheel controls.
