I have an 05 chevy silverado reg cab. I have the 3 seats in it, i have been dying to take the middle seat out but not sure. I always try to look and see where the bolts are, dont know where?and when i take it out are there going to be like 2 rails that the seats sit on still there, or will they come off, cause i think they help the driver and passenger seats to?please help.

To take out the center seat you have to remove the drivers and passengers seat. Once you have them removed the center seat just lifts out. You then can put your drivers and passengers seat back in.

As for removal of the outer seats you need a deep well 11 and 15 metric socket if I recall correctly. There are 2 nuts in the front and 2 bolts in the rear. The heads look really funny, almost like a inside out torgue head. The metric sockets will work as I have had my seats in and out numerous times.

Have a nice day.

The front is a 15mm 12 point, the rear bolt is an E14 inverted torx.
