overhead console

i have a 2000 gmc sierra and i have the small overhead console, i b ought the full console off ebay, will it fit in my truck? the guy said something about a mounting bracket, is this right?? also, will my short console fit in my friends 99 sierra (same body style), he has nothing overhead. thanks.

do a search and you should find what your looking for. the mounting brackets are under the carpet, but you have to know where to cut, so that the cuts will be covered up by the console numerous people have done it so just do a search for it

What about for an '07 Silverado Classic RC W/T?

I'd like to get the short console with possibly the homelink buttons.

How easy will it be to install? Will the clips for it already be beneath the headliner?
