I have an 02 chevy 1500 with manual windows i am wanting to add power windows i have an 02 gmc donor truck thats all electric but from what i can tell to make everything work right i will have to swap out the complete dash harness :eek: has anyone done this or have any info

You can probably modify the harness and splice it into your existing wiring. You also may be able to look at the website of one of the manufacturers who make wiring harnesses and see if one of their universal harnesses will work. Do you have any kind of wiring diagram for the truck, that would help a lot.

I have a 2000 Silv and I just swapped the entire harness. Not that hard to do just remember the path the harness went and put the power harness in the same way.

Swap the harness it's actually less work. Just make sure it's compatible.

each door harness should feed through the door/pillar pass-through grommet and then route upward into the left or right side I/P junction blocks and simply plug in. then you'll need to get a circuit breaker for the pwr windows and install where it is designated on the left side i/p fuse block.
