What transmission do i have?

im new to driving and love my truck. i like learning all about it and i was curious on what transmission i have. its a 97 silverado C1500 with the 5.7L and a 4 speed automatic. ive been looking into different upgrades for my transmission and wanted to make sure i would get stuff that would fit. ive been seeing a lot of this "4l60-e" and was curious if that was in my truck.

Look for RPO code M33 in your glove box. M33 = 4L60E

hey thanks for the tip. i didnt even know what an RPO code is. i found a database for all the RPO codes in the the tech forum. thanks a lot, it opened up a lot of things i can find out about my truck
