Lowering ?

Im looking to pull the block and put a 2 inch drop shackle on my 01. I want to get the front down to about the same height, I was thinking ss keys but wondered what you guys are doing to lower the front.

Im gunna put 22s on it and wondered what tire size and what offset/backspacing I can run on em and what size tires I should/can get.

Is it a torsion bar setup in front??

if you are going low profile like 245/35/20 then I don't think it will hit your fender. and stock offset will work with it. which I have but mine obs.......
+15mm offset on 20x8.5 with 245/35/20 on front.
and also rolled the fender lips as well.

GMRACER (the lowest static 4wd I can think of) is selling a schitload of stuff on pt.net because he is switching from a 4wd to 2wd setup.

I would direct most of your PM's toawrd him if you hit any snags.

I believe most of the aftermarket companies make lowering keys just like the green keys for lifting.

Backspacing should be similar to 2wd so you should be good to go with almost any aftermarket 07Tahoe wheel (+35mm offset) The 07Tahoe wheels fit on a lowered/bagged Silvy better than the ones they sell for the Silverado actually do.

Yea its the 01 I talked to you about. I decided on pearl white but otherwise the same as I was planning before.

I didnt see the stuff on pt.net but I did talk to him on gmfs.

I was told the ss keys are basically like the opposite of a green key.
