Hi all,
I recently purchased a gently used 04 Crew cab with leather electric seats.
The drivers side seat pan seems to jam when lifted/lowered from one extreme to the other. I can get it to start moving again by wiggling the motors while pushing the button but it's a PITA.
I've checked them out, greased the jack shafts, used Tri-flo lube on all joints and it works for about a day.
I noted quite abit of movement in the two motors that work the pan and thought they may just need tightening. A closer look, standing on my head with an inspection mirror showed me that the two motors are held in with a pin. No way to tighten it.
Any suggestions on how to secure the motors better or any adjustments I can make to help remedy the problem?
Thanks!
