Hello, maybe someone can help me out with this problem i've got. I put in a dashboard from an 90 model pick up in my 93. Everthing fit great with the exception of the connector that hooks up to the gauges. The 90 models connector is different so my connector wouldn't snap into the dash like it should. I cut the hole in the dash just enough to fit my connector through the hole and i connected it to my gauge cluster. I put everything back together and it seemed to work great until i took it for drive and i noticed my brake light was on and my speedo didn't work all the rest of the gauges work fine and my pick up wouldn't shift out of first. Sounds to me like an ecm problem but i can't figure out why. Everything was hooked back up like it was so does anyone have any ideas what it might be? Thanks in advance.

Found it! There's a flat white relay lookin thing that's behind where the cassette goes. I saw the harnesses but i thought that one was for the cassette player and one for the glove box light. Well, we are suppose to get some rain tonight so i started to move all the parts from the old dash into the cab and low and behold there it was plugged it in went for a drive and bingo run great. Thanks again to all.
